i think it’s fair to say that every guy who knows my best friend says, “yep, she’s the one who got away.” and tomorrow, it’s all official. jer managed to pull off what every guy has been trying to do for as long as i’ve known her and make marti ‘his girl.’ clearly, you can see why.
